SUPERQUENCH STEELS
Premier Alloys is the local representative of SUPERQUENCH 4140 and 4340 steels produced by Milltech Pty Ltd out of Australia. The SUPERQUENCH material uses a closely controlled induction heat treating process delivering tightly controlled physical properties, superior consistency in properties and surface finish in smaller diameter materials from 20mm to 105mm diameter. Material does not require stress relieving, has no surface scale from the heat treatment process and has significantly improved machineability.
The product can be supplied to the following standards: AS 1444-1996, ASTM A193-1999-B7, NACE MRO 175, SA 434 CL BD and others upon request
Prompt supply is possible thru the stocking of over 400 tonnes of material of various sizes at the Milltech facility in Australia.
Special needs, high strength with NACE capability, peeled or centerless ground finished, straight bars up to 12 meters in length are possible.
